A little bit of Kili in our lives
Oct. 20th, 2013 10:20 amPrompt: Kili confuses elven genders.
Followed by: This lovely plurk thread.
Kili is lonely for a little fair company and as he's related to nearly everyone in the Company and the hobbit is their burglar, he has no where to turn but to the fine elves entertaining them in Rivendell. Unfortunately, his ability to tell their gender has severely lacking and after pointing out a very pretty -- for an elf -- maid to Dwalin, has discovered that she is actually he.
Lamenting to Fili doesn't really seem to help. Fili's just confusing and now a little squabble about the different between Kili wanting company and company has drawn the attention of the elf Kili had been admiring.
He's more than a little shellshocked gazing up at the pretty creature who lowers himself to one of the dwarf-shortened chairs across the table from the brothers. In a panic, Kili can only mutter: "Um, hello! Nice dress. Nice ears. Do you like archery?"
